After more than 20 years in education and the VET sector — and as a parent of teenagers — Paul Konig saw two challenges rising sharply:

the increasing pressures on young people, and the growing shortage of Christian teachers equipped to support them.

Students today face complex influences and higher levels of anxiety, while teachers are asked to provide not just instruction but pastoral care and stability. At the same time, Christian schools across Australia are struggling to find educators who can bring both professional excellence and a Christ-centred presence.

AnchorEd was created in response — to help bridge this gap by connecting schools with educators who see teaching as a calling. Our mission is simple: to strengthen Christian education through people.
